Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld teamed up in the 80's to create a pilot for what would be the best show television has ever seen. The show called "Seinfeld" a comedy, showed four friends in the 90's who lived in NYC in their day to day lives. The four interesting characters Jerry, Elaine, Kramer and George personified the "hang out" as they spent most of their time together relaxing at the local coffee shop. Their everyday problems mostly meaningless kept them busy each day from real life examples from Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld's lives.
Unlike most comedy sitcoms, Seinfeld didn't look to get cheap laughs. The show frequently used intelligent, dry humor jokes to get laughs from viewers changing what the typical "sitcom" was like.
Throughout the nine seasons of the show, ratings hit record numbers each year. The show was awarded numerous awards such as the Golden Globe Award, an Emmy Award and many others. Seinfeld's final episode of the show was viewed by 76 million people around the world. The 75 minute finale tied together all of the events that occurred in the previous nine seasons, leaving an opening for the show to potentially come back some day.
Greatness at its best ^^^
